The Original “CATSEYE” Reflecting Roadstud is the proved efficient and long-lasting Roadstud

Percy Shaw invented the self-wiping roadstud in 1934 and formed the company Reflecting Roadstuds Ltd in 1935.

Continual development and approved modifications ensure the “Catseye” roadstud is still the most durable of roadmarkers, capable of maintaining its lifespan despite the significant increases in volumes of traffic.

The “Catseye” consists of three component parts—highly efficient lenses are housed in a rubber insert which clips into a patented metal base. The self-wiping action is automatically performed by traffic action.

Catseyes

  • Clearly indicate the direction of traffic
  • Allow traffic to be regimented or laned

By night and in fog when other roadmarkings fade, “Catseyes” shine to lead the way

The Long Type Roadstud incorporates patented wear grooves to indicate when renewal of the base is required.
