Next Meetings of the REMA Council and Quality & Development (QAD) Sub-Committee

The next meeting of the REMA Council will take place at 13.45pm on Tuesday 18th June 2013. The venue is the Premier Inn, Stratford Road, Hockley Heath, Solihull, West Midlands B94 6NX. There will be no Quality and Development sub-committee on this day, however, we have arranged for all REMA sub-committees to be able to take place during the day if members wish. All REMA sub-committee members are invited to attend the round of meetings which will commence at 10.30. This will be followed at 13.45 by the REMA Council meeting attended only by the elected members of the REMA Council.

Traffic Signs & Related Products – Changes to European & British Standards

The Highways Agency is consulting on a new draft Internal Advice Note (IAN) entitled:

TRAFFIC SIGNS AND RELATED PRODUCTS – CHANGES TO EUROPEAN AND BRITISH STANDARDS

This Interim Advice Note (IAN) will provide guidance on the implementation of new and revised European and British Standards applicable to traffic signs and related products. It will include interim alterations to the Specification for Highway Works (Series 1200 and Series 1400) and Notes for Guidance on the Specification for Highway Works (Series NG 100, NG 1200 and NG 1400).
